My work has always looked at the concept of the hidden figure
Even when I try to distance myself and paint abstractly the figurative aspect of my painting always has a subtle presence.
I've also been fascinated by the concept that only few can see
What that means in the art world and within faith and spirituality.
Recently I've notice a more distinctive figurative quality being moulded in my most current painting. I want to ensure I still keep the lightness of touch and abstracted quality to the work. Therefore ensuring I don't lose the organic nature of my practice and keep the foundation of the element of chance.
